Invisalign is a tooth straightening treatment that uses clear trays to realign your teeth. It is a comfortable, almost invisible, removable alternative to traditional metal braces that is offered at Fleetwood Dental in Surrey.
How Invisalign Works
You are fitted with a set of tooth aligners that are made from medical-grade thermoplastic polymers. These aligners gradually move your teeth, so you will need to change to another set of aligners after approximately two weeks. This continues until your teeth reach the desired position. This generally requires 15 to 30 sets, which is equivalent to 10 to 15 months. Check-ups with your orthodontist are required every six weeks.
