At Surrey’s Fleetwood Dental, our dental cleanings can be combined with a routine dental check-up with one of our dentists and may include some or all of the following:

• instructions on how to brush and floss 

• recommendations for dental products

• recommendations of a night or sport guard if needed

• periodontal, or gum, assessment

• examination of soft and hard tissue of the mouth

• oral cancer screening

• digital X-rays to assess for cavities

• application of fissure sealants to help prevent cavities

• topical fluoride treatment

• scaling, also known as the removal of plaque build-up
